 Two very fine Swedish DVD´s have been released these past weeks. I suggest you order them and take a good look for yourselves! Both of them got english subtitles, and swedish aswell! Plötslig i Vinslöv(Suddenly in Vinslöv) is a weird documentary about life in a backwater town where the minigolf club and the art club share the same house. Add to that, birdwatchers and a whole of inbreedness... Amazingly funny! Gitarrmongot (The guitar mongo) is a mix of artmovie and fiction, set in Gothenburg. The closest I came to think of is Gummo by Harmony Korine. Very weird and funny! So now you know how to spend your weekend money! Both can be found at www.cdon.se Have fun! Magnus |
