Not sure if any here has heard of Broadcast, but the lead singer died suddenly last month.
I heard a track played on the radio as a tribute, liked it, and then went on to youtube to listen to some more.
The singer sounds in places just like Nina, so the next time any of you are on youtube, etc, Broadcast are well worth a listen.

This is sad. I had a Broadcast album back in the 90s that I liked. Heard a few other recordings through friends. There was a simililarity to Stereolab, and the artwork had a stark modern feel. One thing that stuck with me for a while, was that several of their songs were in 3/4 time, yet, I don't know how others think, but the signature was somehow disguised, and not giving off the traditional waltz feel.
