Yup.
Hahahahaha, Fede, that's a good one. Lovely artwork. I love a bit about the video:
|
The music video, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, features singer Nina Persson as a demonstrator taking part in a riot, and the rest of the band as riot policemen. The video was shot entirely in the Czech Republic, at a cost of 2 million USD, and includes brutal scenes of rioting, with protestors overturning police cars and setting them on fire, and being assaulted by officers in riot gear while helicopters circle overhead. Fifty-eight different versions of the video were shot in an effort to get MTV to play at least one of them. The eventual MTV video features Nina Persson walking along a city street and singing the song. |
Brilliant! |

Seriously, I think there will be no more records of The Cardigans, Nina is in other musical issues and I can bet that Peter is not very agreed for that, (musically talking), I dont really know, but Who knows!!?, I hope to be wrong, anyway I think Nina is more american than swedish right now and she has other plans with musical recordings... |

I don't think so. I really think that they will do another record together.rnOther bands have demonstrated to us that no matter what has been the reason they splitted up, they got together to make new music. And the Cardigans won't be the exception. |

unfortunately I've to agree with Enrike, wish I'm wrong but I dont beleive there will be another Cardigan album, like you said Nina is living a diferent moment now... and I still don't buy the story that Peter didn't' toured with the band this year for family issues... |

It all depends on Peter I think. If he wants the new album, there will be a new album. He wrote most of the Cardigans songs. He's not replaceable. I guess his decision to not to join the last tour was because he didn't want to play Gran Turismo. I might be wrong about this. We the fans just can wait and see .... Nina living in the US isn't not a big problem for current studio recording in my opinion. Most of her projects like with James Iha, Citizen Band, & A Camp are with her husband, just side projects :)) |

more than 7 years til we know something…rnThat is really too long…rnrnPeter likes writing songs much better than playing the guitar. So he has worked with some other artists.rnBut I want Peter to write songs for the band.his songs and the sound of the band are perfect for me all the time!!!. |

I guess his decision to not to join the last tour was because he didn't want to play Gran Turismo. | rnI don't know about that. I think something was going on in the band during the SEG promo that they haven't told us. Peter looked and sounded completely miserable all the time, in interviews, on stage. I saw the band at the Ambassador Theatre in Dublin in 2005, and Peter was just daydreaming 90% of the time - the other 10% was him shooting dirty looks at audience members and sometimes Nina. He really didn't wanna be in The Cardigans at that time.rnrnMaybe he has always been a miserable bastard, I don't know, but even on that bonus DVD that came with SEG, I remember him being a right snappy git to other band members a couple of times (Peter to Magnus: "You're not doing it right. You should have practised," or words to that effect).rnrnI'd love to hear a Cardigans album without Peter writing every piece of music, to be honest. A real collaborative album: "All songs written by Persson/Sveningsson/Johansson/Lagerberg." If they put all their heads together and really worked on it, they could make something really special. Or at least not another predictable 11-song album. |

Well, maybe you´re right, but everybody knows how Peter works with the band, he´s the man who´s always taking care of the music for the band, he´s who send demos to the rest of the band and they dont care at all... and hes is waiting for an answer, I can understand him ´cause as musician you always want to keep your band with new ideas and more for the good of the band... but this time maybe Peter is tired of always seek the band for new chances, new ideas, I dont know, but he is a genious , maybe Peter doesnt feel comfortable with the band anymore bsides Nina is in other musical road, so different of the sound of The Cardigans.rnBut who knows, maybe we are wrong. and I cant imagine a new cardigan´s album without a member of the band :/ |

Can't use 'enter' anymore on this forum :) || @meg0725, some people said how The Cardigans starts their songs is so Peter ... Peter style :) || @Small-Talker, yeah I think he put himself as the learder of the band, because most of the songs were written by him so he had the sounds his head. However it's interesting to see what will happen to the band, with or without Peter. Since Magnus said they want to do tour in Amercan, they including Nina still want The Cardigans to be exist. I definitely want the new album with Peter, but we only can wait and see. Oskar is awesome, but I can say I've never heard any of Oskar songs except the live ones from youtube || @enrike 10-11 years for the Cranberries fans to finally enjoy the new album, yeah 10 years is too long. 8 for The Cardigans I hope :) |

I like Peter and Nina working together on the songs, but I do miss Magnus' input. Plus, I think we should hear from Lasse a bit more in the song writing.rnrnIf there's something wrong with the band internally, I hope they can work it out. |
