New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Here's the latest additions to the Music of Prince benefit concert at Carnegie Hall March 7: Amos Lee, Citizen Cope & Alice Smith, and Nina Persson (The Cardigans). They'll join house band The Roots along with Elvis Costello, D'Angelo, Talib Kweli and more for a star-studded event.

The concert marks the ninth installment of Michael Dorf's annual series which has raised over $700,000 to date for music education programs for underprivileged youth. Full lineup below.

Previous sold-out Carnegie concerts presented by Dorf have honored the music of such timeless artists as Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, R.E.M., Neil Young, The Who and The Rolling Stones. Each year 100% of the net proceeds from the concert are given to music education non-profits. This years recipients include: The American Symphony Orchestra's Music Notes, Church Street School of Music, Young Audiences New York, FIKS (Fixing Instruments for Kids in Schools), Little Kids Rock, and the Center for Arts Education.

Oh well... at least Nina got the big one.

It's a shame to see that this is what the Waterboys have been reduced to, though. They were the coolest thing when I was growing up.
