Hello everyone,

Don’t get too excited, it’s homemade, nothing official. Still, it’s been a lot of work, and as it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever get an official DVD of this tour, so...

So I’ve watched on YouTube and other sites about everything that was filmed during the Cardigans’ last summer tour, and I picked the best of what was available for every song they performed during this tour. Most of the time, there were several sources for a given song at a given concert, so I created multi angle edits for all the songs, and I also tried to make it sound as good as possible (this is not Dolby Surround, obviously, but this is 2.0 stereo !). For a couple of songs, though, I cheated a little by editing together sources from different shows, when there was nothing else to do to create a reasonably enjoyable edit.

Then I joined together all the edits as seamlessly as possible, to create a “complete” concert. It’s even more complete than any real one, as it features “One night in Moscow” performed only... guess where, AND “Rise and shine”, performed only during the final concerts in Asia.
By the way, the performance of “Rise And Shine” in Jakarta was the starting point for this project. It was so good, and there were several very good video sources, I had to do something with it. You’ll find my edit there :

(video and audio sound better on the DVD than on YouTube, obviously...)

Most of the songs are from Jakarta and Moscow. Anyway, if you're interested, download it quickly because I'm not sure how long the files are going to be online ; it's 3 Gb and I won't upload this stuff again.

Here's the link to a text file that contains all the downloading details :

http://depositfiles.com/files/i9l0h8gm2

This is strictly non-commercial, and of course, if anybody related to the band is opposed to this, he can let it be known here and the files will be deleted.

I hope you'll enjoy it...

Awesome work, thanks so much!!

Just came home, checking out the downloads, well it's done :)
It's such an honour you used my shots on the closing credit :D
You know I lost all the original photos because of a broken HD. This cheers me up :)

Nice work, Yann! I appreciate all your hard work.

I'm working on adding English subtitles to the Life The Real Story video. I'm only a few minutes into it. I've got quite a way to go, but I think it'll be nice to finally have that done. I'll be sure to share it with everyone.

You're welcome, everyone !
Bac : good luck with the subtitles ! Quite a hard work too... (but made easier by a Swedish wife, I guess ? :))
Enrike : the track comes from the long-extinct LGBD microsite, that you could enter by putting your LGBD CD inside the computer.

Yes, it's not so hard, but VERY time consuming. I've found, thanks to my wife, that some of Jason's translation isn't quite correct (Sorry, Jason! Not a criticism of your work, but anyone can make a translation mistake.)

Actually, it turns out Jason's translation is more like a summary in English of what was said, rather than direct translation. So mainly he just left out some details, but we are putting those details back in.

He does make a few errors that we have corrected for the video. For example, near the start of the video Bengt mentions an instrument he played growing up called a "fagott". Jason's translation calls it a "cello", but it's actually a "bassoon" in English (a completely different instrument). (We see/hear Bengt playing it in the "Sick and Tired" video.)

Wow, can't wait to see the finished project.

I got the text translation some years ago, I think from the old forum ...

Me too! Back in the day I only had dial-up Internet access. Until I got ADSL it was too late. The Internet site in question was https://secure.digitalinsert.c...otion=57 and it has been online for quite a while but the extra content wasn't available anymore. Now it's not even in archive so RIP or something.
