This is just a nice November holiday
Suggestion.
No dates are confirmed.
I made this up.
It would make a lot of people very happy.
But Mags did say
November
Didn't he?

Enrike -
Those dates are only my idea of a good tour
S.America.
Why go all the way to Chile for one gig?
Mags mentioned a "November trip".
So I hope there are more tour dates being considered.
I hope you get a Mexican tour date the work and support you give the band is fantastic!

Russia sounds awesome! I just saw an art exhibit focused on the Romanov dynasty - lots of their jewelry, paintings, furniture, etc.

Will the Cardies be addressing any of the current anti-Gay policies? Just about everyday it seems there is something about these policies (and the Olympics) in our U.S. newspapers. I have some feelings about it, but I don't know.

I know they aren't coming here, but I just to know that they're still out their playing. I do wish Peter would get involved, though.

Like Bac says, I'm happy too to see the band get out and tour.
I wish I was there but there are good videos of the last tour (Moscow concert was amazing!) and can't wait to see more from the new shows .
As much as I love Peter, any decent guitarist can fill in now for shows if he's too busy.
As the creative force he is I have to believe

...that he will always be making music with the band in mind.
In January the focus will be on Nina with the release of her solo album.
There's a lot to get excited about and thankful for!

I wish that were true. He's written some very good songs for other artists. I can understand him doing that to a point, but... But I was told that there were some (not necessarily people in the band) who really wished Peter had written "Come Along" for the Cardigans instead of Titiyo.
I'm sure that song would have been a great hit for the Cardigans. But I certainly like Titiyo and hearing her sing it.

Thanks Bac. I hadn't heard of that. The Titiyo 'Come Along' song and video are great.

Vicci Martinez a popular contestant on The Voice used the song as her first single
Earlier this year Peter helped produce her album.

I see Peter credited with producing 4 tracks on the Vicci cd.
Track 1 with max Martin , Michael Ilbert and Shellback.
Track 2 with Ilbert.
Track 4 with Ilbert and Martin.
Track 11 with Ilbert.
Everyone knows Max Martin.
Ilbert has a big résumé too working with
Roxette among others...

Oh my god, Kv2.0. I saw the name Vicci Martinez but took me a while to place it. I looked at her Wikipedia page, and yes, she is from near Seattle. I lived there several years ago and know I saw her perform at least once. She was dynamic, but I never kept up with her progress. I believe I saw her at events leaning toward Mexican (immigrant) rights, not exactly, but politically aware of that stuff. I think. Geez, thinking about Seattle, I wonder what happened to Tina, longtime big forum Cardifan in Seattle on this message board. She made my copy of Long Gone before Daylight on cassette, from her CD.

Hmmm... that's interesting. I didn't know that Martinez had done a version of the song. Not surprised due to Peter's involvement in her career!

Yeah, whatever happened to Tina? Apparently she hasn't been on the site since August 2009. What was her last name... I think it started with an "F". And I remember her going to Italy at one point.

I also wonder whatever happened to Erica Svane who was also very active on this site at one time.

That's right Bac, yeah, Erica had lots to say, interesting stuff if I remember right. She was studying in Sweden?

Tina I'm pretty sure got to meet and hang out with Magnus, and maybe other Cardies, after a concert somewhere in the U.S. Maybe that was the peak for her, and she didn't feel the need to be an online fan anymore.
Hope she is alright. We had dinner together once, she was a sweet person.

Anyway, after Moscow, after S. America, Cardigans/A Camp tour N. America! :)
