Primavera Fauna Production Team inform:
Regarding the many comentaries appeared during these days in the social networks about the cancellation of The Cardigans show in Primavera Fauna,
We believe that it is necessary to clarify some points:
The final agreenment between Primavera Fauna Production Team and The Cardigans agents was agreed on August 29th, allowing us to announce their participation in the 2013 Festival version
Next day, the band confirmed the whole South American Tour, without giving us permission to announce the rest of the countries because of an agreement with Primavera Fauna
In the last days, the band confirmed that the total income of all the dates would not afford the tour. As soon as we knew this la production of the Festival made all the economic efforts to achieve the band’s performance. But we did not receive any response from the band until today (September 26th)
Tonoght, September 25th, thanks to The Cardigans fans reaction in the social networks, the Production realized that the Band used their Facebook page to cancel unilaterally the whole South American Tour.
The inclusion of Spiritualized, The Drums and Prehistoricos do not correspond to a palliative solution, they are new surprises that we were negotiating since weeks
