I'm selling a couple of Cardigans items on eBay that might interest some of you:
In Pursuit of Pooh
The World According to...

I ordinarily wouldn't be selling these things, but I need the money and, honestly, I can't stand the sight of these things anymore. The time I bought these and back when everyone here was up my butt about ripping them to MP3 was a pretty shitty time for me. Too many bad memories. So off they go to a good home (hopefully)

And if someone could spread the word about this to all the guys on Facebook, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

I spread the word for you. I won't be buying them myself, but hopefully this will help you out!

I don't know what happened to you Small-Talker, but I deeply appreciate your hard work. Having heard those 2 demos it really was something special for me, as a fan since 1998.
BTW, I can't understand why they represent something band, being music from one of your favourite band.
Don't get rid of these 2 unique pieces only because you have bad memories associated with them. I'm sure that those Lps are not responsible for what has happened to you. ;) But since is your own decision, it's all up to you!
All in all. All the best with the sale if that's what you need.

I don't know how to explain it. Looking at these vinyls after such a long time, it was like... bumping in to an old girlfriend/boyfriend after a few years apart. At first, it reminded you of some good things, but then after that, you just kept thinking about the bad times. And now you never wanna see them again. That's the closest analogy I could think of. Honestly, if no-one buys these things, they're going in the trash. I want rid of them, one way or the other.

Sorry. I'm not on Facebook (that's why I asked for help spreading the word about this among all the fans who aren't here anymore). If you wanna contact me, PM me here.

ahhgghh... surely someone will buy them. But if you don't sell them on ebay, then please email me and I'll see if I can pay you something for them and have you ship them to me. I'd just hate to see them go in the trash.

Or maybe one of the other fans will rescue them. I hope you get some bids though.

My collecting of Cardigans items slowed down to almost nothing after I had my first kid. I still like all the stuff I have, but I'm not likely to buy much more since I have such a big collection as it is. There's only a couple item's I would be willing to shell out some serious cash for at this point.

Anyway... hope you get some good bids!

Thanx for your response Small-Talker. Maybe we have to be in your shoes.
It may sound stupid, but in case nobody buys them, don't throw them in the trash. I would be greatful if I could get those. They really mean to me and I consider those demos as jewels. I don't have the money to afford them cause I'm working overseas and is hard for me to save up some money, but I could make an effort and pay for the delivery if you want them to be given away to me. As I said, it might sound stupid, but I can try to ask you.
Bac, you don't sound too interested in them, (I know you asked Small-Talker first) but if you don't mind, I promise I'll know how to cherish those Lps.
It's up to both of you guys, Small-Talker and Bac. I don't want to make a fuss out of this. That's why I let you decide what to do in case nobody buys them.

It looks like nobody's gonna buy them. They've been up a couple of days now, they've had about 40 views each, but not one bid or even a watcher.

If nobody buys them, I'd be more than happy to give them to one of you for the price of postage. Or... two vinyls, two interested people. Might be a silly thought but: instead of fighting over them, how about I send one each to both of you? Any dibs on which one you'd each prefer?

Well... we might as well wait until we see what happens on Sunday before we start talking about this seriously. I'd hate to make these sort of arrangements, only for someone else to snap them up at the last second on eBay and you both ending up disappointed.

Hey Small-Talker.
Sounds fair enough for me. No worries. I can wait patiently for a gift like this whether it happens or not. ;)
I can't believe that maybe I will one of those persons in the world who might own this piece of art. Crossed fingers!

SmallTalker,
I'm fine with you giving it (well, making arrangements) to any of the other fans. I've got a lot of Cardigans goodies. I'll leave myself open as an option if no one else gets them. As far as I'm concerned FeDe or Naylor should have them.

No it's not.

Sorry everyone. They've both been bought up by a guy in Chicago. No-one I recognise (from the forum), but they all done and paid up within 10 minutes of the auction ending. I'm shipping them out first thing Monday morning.

Sorry guys. I was more than prepared to let them go for nothing, but €134 is €134.

I'm glad someone actually bought them from you! Good for you, man -- and a lucky fan!

Jeez... I've often wondered what the hold-up was whenever I ordered stuff from the US off either eBay or Amazon Marketplace. Now I know it must have been the USPS. I sent this package on my lunchbreak on Monday, it arrived in the US at around 3:30pm Tuesday (8:30am New York time), but the poor guy is still waiting for it. NY to Chicago really shouldn't take 4-5 business days, should it? Ridiculous.

It shouldn't take that long, but it's not unheard of with the USPS. In fact, I'm usually surprised when they get stuff where it's going in a timely manner.
