What are the details involving the shelved version of Long Gone Before Daylight? What versions have been released from this and are their any songs that weren't re worked that still haven't been heard?

Are you talking about the "Polar versions"?

There were some versions of songs the band finished and after listening to them Peter said, "It sucks!" and they proceeded to fix them. That might be what you mean. (And the final versions do sound better, but the originals have an interesting quality to them.)

Thank you Bac! That is exactly what I was wondering about. I wasn't sure if those were the shelved versions of just demo versions.

For What It's Worth has a Polar version and You're The Storm has a Sandkvie Session and a Demo. Are their any of the other tracks that have been released (or leaked) from these times? I imagine that they would have recorded a least a handful before deciding to start over.

There's also a demo or early version of Communication and it's shorter than the original
