I guess that I should be the one to re-start this thread since it was me who created it in the old forum.

So what is this about then? Simple! You write down the song that you are listening to right this instant. If you want to post some lyrics or some info on the song, like from what album it is and so on ...

Right now I'm listening to: Radiohead - There There

in pitch dark I go walking in your landscape
broken branches trip me as I speak
just 'cause you feel it doesnt mean it's there...

From the record 'Hail to the Thief'.

I'm listening to Iggy Pop - We Have All the Time in the World. Better than the original one by Louis Amstrong or My Bloody Valentine
Was originally sang by L.Amstrong for James Bond's On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and got covered by Iggy Pop for the movie The Jacket

I do love this song a lot, especially its string melody

This is one playlist of country music that I'm listening right now. The playlists that I assemble are the length of about 80 minutes or so, so they can fit on a cd if I wish to burn one.

1. Pat Green - I Like Texas
2. Gretchen Wilson - Here For The Party
3. Cowbot Troy - I Play Chicken With The Train
4. Chely Wright - C'est La Vie (cover of Chuck Berry's song)
5. Sarah Evans - Suds In The Bucket
6. Tim McGraw - Things Change
7. Phil Vassar - Athens Grease
8. The Mavericks - From Here To Paradise
9. Emmylou Harris - Crescent City
10. Lee Ann Womack - I Hope You Dance
11. Jo Dee Messina - Dare To Dream
12. Patty Griffin - Love Throws A Line
13. Leann Rimes - Nothin' 'Bout Love Makes Sense
14. Dixie Chicks - Some Days You Gotta Dance
15. Brad Paysley - Spaghetti Western
16. Earl Scruggs - Foggy Mountain Breakdown
17. Roseanne Cash - September When It Comes
18. Kenny Chesney - There Goes My Life
19. Martina McBride - God's Will
20. Lyle Lovett - That's Right (your not from Texas)

Country music is what I listen to most, but I like many kinds of music, obviously if I like the Cardigans that much, so I'll post playlists of other types as well.

Thanks for your patience.

I'm listening to BBC 6 Music Radio via the magic of broadband.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a play of "...fine wine...", but no show so far, and according to their website tracklists it wasn't played yesterday either, what's going on!?!

Anyway, the last track played was the Pixies' Monkey Gone To Heaven, which is nice.

For my money, BBC 6 is the best radio station around. They seem to have a policy of 'if it's good music, we play it, stuff the record companies, we do what we want!'
check it out at the BBC site now!...

Any idea how I can get my local radio station to play the new single? Should they be getting it on a playlist or something?

ooohohooho woo!
6 Music are now playing the new Richard Hawley track!
He's very good. Used to be the guitarist in the Longpigs (still one of my favourite bands), but his solo stuff is completely different, like a chilled out Lee Hazlewood from North Yorkshire!

Stina Nordenstam - Get On With Your Life

it took them so long to find it
I can't get this pornfilm out of my head
let's get on with it

it is banging inside
it is singing outloud
get on with your life ...

From the hugely underexposed album 'The World Is Saved' - My pick for best album of 2004.
