Hej! I'm Nadja from Germany, 20 yrs old and just love The Cardigans' music.
I will be in Stockholm for New Years Eve and I don't know anyone there, so if there are some nice people from Stockholm who could tell me where there's a party... drop me a line! =)

hi i'm james. i'm going to school in chicago right now but i'm from texas. i've loved the cardigans since lovefool and loved them ever since. they did make a one-in-lifetime visit to san antonio which i sadly missed my junior year of high school. i'm nineteen now and this was two years ago. i wish they would have more publicity in america other than college radio. they sound raw, unlike the new so-called rock scene that mtv sadly advertises to radio. anyway, i'm wondering when they will come to the US to tour for super extra gravity. maybe they'll come to chicago since i'm here. |

Hello - I'm Chris. I'm probably the grandfather of the board - I'm 38 now (yikes!), but I haven't given up my interest in good music! Just like most of us here in the US, I first heard the Cardigans on Lovefool, and thought it was a cool pop tune, but didn't think much else. (So although everyone downplays Lovefool, without that song, a lot of us would be in the dark, so to me it is and extremely important one)
A friend later played Life for me, and I was intrigued, having been a fan of lounge/jazz/cool for a while. Although I was heavily into psychobilly, rockabilly, and punk, the Cardigans really hit a nerve with me. Every album of theirs I picked up got me more and more hooked. LOVED Gran Turismo. Eventually LOVED LGBDaylight. LOVE the new one! There is just something so fresh and vibrant about their music, regardless of which era. I don't know what it is, but they have something that I so identify with; something that makes me happy just to listen. None of my old friends can understand it, but I can proudly say that the Cardigans are my favorite music of all time - hands down. They are my "Beatles' or my "Elvis" or whatever you want to call it. I hope it doesn't sound too silly, but I love my music and their music makes my life better! |

Hi
I am Julian
Been a fan of the Cardigans since I heard a late night radio session just before 'Life' came out. I have seen them maybe 6 or 7 times (never enough). I am about as old as The Cardigans and I live in the north of England. I like the outdoors, watching movies, snowboarding and motorsport.
Not much else to say except 'Hello everyone'
Enjoy your time on the forum! |

Hey.
I'm Marc. I'm a British guy living in Tokyo at the moment. Got into the Cardigans on a holiday to France about 12 years ago. We were staying in a converted barn in the middle or Normandy over easter and all of the shops were closed. We had nearly no food and the beer situation was not good. 'Been it' blasting out of the stereo in the sunshine kept spirits high though. Always think of that weekend when I hear it. Sadly one of the guys from that trip isn't with us anymore, so it makes me think of him too. |

Hi there! Im from Portugal and I love The Cardigans: amazing powerfull songs, good message (lyrics) and a sweet nice voice ( the cherry on top). We have a top talented band in market definetly, good work Cardies. I bought and I´ll buy for shure. I enjoy a lot first records ( very retro and original) but my favourite is long gone...wich is a perfect compact solid album ( another page in the book, or chapter). Hope you play in my country soon (I dont beg you to play, thats diferent), I mean hope someone from Portuguese music business invite you and buy you a gig (its diferent isn´t?) |

Hi peole, good place here! The Cardigans are a living legend! Im glad about having the same age of them (+-), that means I will be alive for years listening their songs, if they play until 60, at least. I really hope so.
The Beatles had their follwers, we have The Cardigans! |

Hi everybody, my name is Harald, and I'm 14, lives in Norrtälje (sweden - obviously) worships cardigans (also obvious) hates all kinds of intolerent people (which is quite the paradox that I'm intolerant towards intolerant perople, I'm weird) uhm, I got the super extra gravity CD, christmas 2005, and a week later I bought the rest of the released CD's. I LOVE Nina's lyrics, and lemon-liqurich (how the hell do you spell that?) I'm a swot (sadly) speaks (latin NOT fluently), french, English and swedish. I mean WHY on earth do I know that 10,3 % of the area of sweden is covered with blueberryplants?
Anyway thats all there is (uninteresting I know). |

My name is Charles. I live in kentucky. I am 40 years old, married to a great woman and have great kids. I am a US immigration lawyer.
I came to the Cardigans several years ago after their ist US single. I never bought the album but I thought the tune was so clever, and it was clear to me from listening that there was so much more to the band than the slick pop. Then a few months ago after I discovered YouTube I sdearched for ther band and saw the video from their most recent release. I had never seen the singer or heard the band play that type of stripped down sound. I bought the disc at Wal-Mart about a month ago and it has been in my disc player in my car ever since. |
