Hey there =D

I Have been in this forum before, but dunno if i have ever posted, so... lol

My name is Vagner, 20 years [21 on the next Feb. 10th ] and i'm from Bento Gonçalves, a lil' town in the deep south of Brasil

i'm a Cardigans fans for some good 9 years i would say... back in 1998 i loved the "My favourite game" video and i immediatelly bought the GT album, then i feel in love with "Erase/Rewind" (L)

i only discovered "Lovefool" was from The Cardigans later, when i saw "Romeo + Juliet", i had no idea about that but of course i loved the song!

on the years after that i didn't listened The Cardigans a lot, but when they released LGBD i fell in love for them more than i've ever did, and to be sincere, as i already had 17 years i was much more mature too since then, LGBD became unconditionally one of my Top 3 albums EVER and i nevr stopped listenin' them anymore =) au contraire, i only got even more addicted lol

the only thing that upsets me is that "Emmerdale" and "Other side of the moon" were not released in Brasil, so i still don't have them =( oh, yeah, and i still hate me for not going to their show here back in 2006 but hey, they should've gone to Porto Alegre, not Florianopolis ¬¬

Last, but not least... I hope the guys of the band don't get mad if they read this, but Nina is the one to blame for 90% of my love for The Cardigans (L) i can't resist to that voice, one of my all-time fave too!

Well, that's it for now i guess... hope i can get in touch with other Cardifans from all around the world

anything...

P.S.: Someone here said something about being a gay Cardigans fan lol well, here's another one

P.S.2.: this one goes out to "boston-joe" wich posted on the previous page... where did you read about their Soundscan album sales? i've always been running like crazy after that but all i found was the figure for GT =(

Why are you (only) gay ?
Nina sings when she has sex, and some other girls do that do.

Wow. Mad sense of dejavu from those last few posts. I don't know whether you're all trying to freak me out by writing those same words in several different places, but I swore I read all those exact words before.

Just totally hit me in the face there.

And .. well ... I'm Small-Talker. I'm from Ireland and ... blah ... you all already know as much as I want you all to know about me.

Hi all,

I just joined up and thought I'd pop my head in here to say hello. I'm from Australia, and have had a good friend try to turn me onto the Cardigans for ages. Well, he finally cracked through, and now I'm on a mission to hear as much of them as I can.

I live for music/films/art/books and despite having who knows how many records and CDs (in the thousands) the Cardigans are way up there, particularly Long Gone, which I've been working on a review of for a few months.

Look forward to taking part here

Hi everyone! I'm Saff from the Philippines. I'm a lady at 27, and obviously I just signed up on this wonderful site, but I have been lurking in here for quite some time now. I am a creative new media designer, and i design stuff for print and web. I have to say that this fan site sure is the best example of a website that's simple but beautiful! :)

I've been a fan of The Cardigans way back when I was in college. I first got a hold of their album 'Life' when a drummer classmate of mine introduced me to your music. From then on, I can't stop but love you guysand the songs you play! It's just a pity that not all of your albums are distributed in my country, not even nina's solo 'a camp' :( good thing my cousins in nyc are grabbing each cardigan album i've missed.

lastly, i think bengt is the most handsome drummer in the history of music! I've researched since the birth of rock bands and no band had a good looking drummer other than Bengt of The Cardigans!!! :) Bengt, you rock!!!

much
saff

A Camp was released in the Philippines in late 2005. :) A friend of mine got it for me as a birthday present. And I think it was still in stores for about 2months more.

Hi to all. I'm Nico and I'm 24 from Italy.
I have "known" the cardigans in the summer of 1999.
It was the first time that I listened "Erase and Rewind" from a jukebox on the beach. A beatiful day of sun at sea...
I have the beautifulst memories about the summer of that year... thanks also cardigans...
My greater sorrow is that I have not never seen the band in live concerts...
I hope of being able to make up for sooner or later...because I creed in the band...
In order now I console myself with the "best of", I work in a advertising agency
and the songs of cardigans help my mind in my creations...:)
I hope to often attend the forum...
Salutes to all,
Nico ;)

Hi! I first heard of the cardigans when I was a kid, I remeber hearing Lovefool in the car and to be honest I didn't and still don't really like the song (but I think just about everybody else did!) And then My Favourite Game was released and I just couldn't get it out of my head, I think I was around nine years old and I BEGGED my Mum to go out and buy the song for me and when she did I couldn't stop playing it; even now I'll turn it up full volume as it's just a make-you-feel-happy and screw-the-world kind of song.
Eventually got the Gran Turismo album (about 7 years later) and I was thrilled by it, discovered another few great songs on there: Erase/Rewind, Starter, Hanging Around and of course ... My Favourite Game. Then Super Extra Gravity came out and I thought that was pretty crap, though I love In The Round (really inspirational song).
So I stopped with the cardi's for a few years, until the Best of album came out and now I am addicted once more! Have not stopped listening to the record! Really like: Rise and Shine, Losers and Live and Learn.
The other day I got First Band on the Moon and Life. (Think Celia Inside is going to be my 2008 Summer song).
