Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe I won a ticket! I don't know what to do now, I have no concert experience and how to come to Serbia. I don't even know if I'm gonna have time for this because maybe I'll have exam next week. Oh man, what a complicated situation!

that summer had its charm
Four days ago I've answered a poll (mainly because of the Cardigans and I had this "I feel lucky" feeling) on this website: www.radiomars.si. The question was who is going to perform on this years' EXIT festival in Novi Sad?
a) The Cardigans
b) The Sweathers
c) The Pullovers

Yesterday I came home from exam when I saw a pleasant surprise in my emailbox saying congratulations for winning a ticket. First I just starred into the message and then started to jump around like kangaroo who's just won a ticket to EXITfest. Anyway I passed that exam and that means I going to have oral exam next week. I'll try to solve this as soon as possible, so I hope I'll have time for this. I really want to go!
Btw if you have any advice about visiting music festivals in foreign country, please post it here. Perhaps it'll help me. Yet I don't know how to get there, where to stay, etc etc.
Posthuman, what's your experience of EXIT? And I don't mean the music part (this is great I believe) but organisation, safety, visitors, you know things like that.

EXIT NOISE SUMMER FEST is the biggest music festival in the South-eastern Europe.
EXIT takes place on a beautiful and magical fortress in Novi Sad, since 2001. Year after another number of visitors is getting bigger; the young come from different parts of the country and Europe. Apart from quality music program that it offers, festival is a place of extraordinary fun and good atmosphere of the fortress as well as the positive energy of the city.

Ok,what I can tell you, security is strict when you have to enter in Petrovaradin Fortress..you are not allowed to enter drinks or even food, you can buy it there, and (should I even mention) no drugs.. :)

Basically, everything you need to know,it is written on their site..
And about accomodation too..

I'll read everything when I'll have the time, my exam has much higher priority than Exit. ;)
But let's say the transport isn't a problem, it's just a question of money. What worries me most is that Exit Camp online ticket reservations are closed now so I'll have to buy it when I get there. I wouldn't count on that because I'm afraid they'll be sold out by then. Where are you gonna be? Is there any possibility for you to buy camp ticket for me?

Yes,exam is important..too ;)
I didn't know that about the camp..
I'm not from Novi Sad,I'm about 200 kilometers far from it (Kragujevac).
I'll go there on the 6th of July (on the day of the concert),but I'll stay more afterwards..
So,if you think that I can do something from here,I'll gladly try.But I'll have to do it through mail or by phone, same as you..
If you have any suggestion, say :)

kosinus, it's weird that you won a ticket for the festival, but not for the accomodation and travelling...i thought such wins usually include all of this. have you checked that back?

Noo,I'm pretty sure it's only the ticket. It's not that cheap, they wouldn't pay him that too.
You know, they have to make a profit on him.. Yeah..like everywhere..

Wow, that's became an exciting story. Will he go to Serbia? Will he pass the exam? Will she solve the camp problem for him? Will they meet?

I'm desperately waiting for another news.

No problem, I lost a chance to see Placebo, Franz Ferdinand and one of my favourites Skin and The Streets at Open'er Festival in Gdynia, Poland. I live on the South and forgot to book everything months ago. Now it's all gone, the fest will start tommorow, tickets are sold out and I can only listen to the news on the radio.
