But Wembley's been demolished... England have as much chance of winning the World Cup as the new Wembley has of being finished on time and costing less than 17 fine German stadiums!

Felt sorry for England today, everything seemed to be against them, but the first match they played reasonably well in, they lost LOL! Rooney is an idiot though.
France played fantastically tonight! I'm starting to believe they may have a good chance now.
I thought Argentina would win until they were knocked out. I think it might be a France v Germany final. |

it's a good team we got, i was knowing it, but i was imagining that they could play as well against brazil...
and well i like when they play like this...
they beat brazil one more time, i really hope they'll win the cup..
i think they can.. in fact i think that no country can beat them this year..
they're too strong in defense and too solidar..
does it was the best match of the cup?? hejjjj, you havnt seen the final yet ;o)
zidane is really the best player i've seen from many years.. i was knowing that he was a good football player, but from the too last match, and this night, just wonderfull.. thank mister zidane

He's magical to watch sometimes isn't he? Has to be one of the stars of the whole tournament. Ronaldo looked like he hadn't woken up until the last ten minutes, which was a surprise. |

well, well, well, it's done, we gonna meet again our dear italian's friends.. it's really bad luck for them.. they ever used to lose their match against us...
i think that it will be a great match, because italia give us to see really nice things in semi-final against germany..
i give you the result before, 1-0 for france ;o) but it will be as difficult than the final of euro 2002 |

The difference with Italy this year is that they play until the end - 2 goals in the last minutes against Germany, beating Australia in minute 95+. I don't think they'll open the chapagne early like they did against France in the 2000 Euro final. France also get tired at the end of matches - they will have to score early, which is almost imposible against Italy - but if Zizou can be magic one final last time, anything is possible. Last time there was a major football scandal in Italy was in 1982... It's going to be a tight match but of very high quality.
It's a shame some of the attacking teams went out so early, like Argentina or Spain, but it's always a good defence that gets you to the final and this year's finalists are no exception. |

France wins semi-final : 5 deads (one aggression, and four accidents).
I hope France will win the final. I hope 20 deads, maybe 30. French supporters are so so so stupid.
In my street, they were singing "la Marseillaise". It is so insulting, they bombed Paris in 1871 with this song, and they murdered in Algeria with this song. |

^I wondered what he said. A racist comment? I don't think Zidane would react to that during a match. Was it in English? Italian? French?
Anybody read lips?
Do they have those hand-held dish microhones on the sidelines like in American football?
I doubt Zidane will repeat what was said. It could be a mystery for the ages! (Maybe that's best.)
Afterall, they said on TV that they did not show the "head-butt" on the Jumbotron to the stadium audience... That could have caused more fighting and rioting. |

Well he DID react which means it must have been one really BAD comment, considering they were joking just a few seconds before.
My guess it was something to do with his North African Muslim backround. Ok, that's only a guess on my part but I can't think of anthing else that would cause a reaction like that. Maybe it was something about his baldness??...
