Super Extra Gravity is The Cardigans' sixth album. It was produced by Tore Johansson who last worked with The Cardigans on Gran Turismo and since then with the band Franz Ferdinand. The album was released in Germany on October 14, 2005 and in the UK on October 17, 2005. A Japanese edition has since been released. The first single released was "I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer". The second single was "Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds)." It has been confirmed that the third single from the album will be "Godspell," the lyrics of which reference a conservative religious mentality common to the band's hometown of Jönköping, Sweden.

Best song on the album in my opinion so it is no surprise.. also mags has been saying for a while this would be the case.. i guess he talks sense! :-) |

Hahaha... just because it's in Wikipedia doesn't make it true... :P
But yeah, Magnus confirmed it in the Ask the Band section. The artwork is already finished but no video as of yet.
And that Wikipedia article is kinda wrong... hmmm. As far as I know from interviews Godspell has very little (if not nothing) to do with Jönköping directly. |

Maybe Slowdown Town will be on this single? Or has the year of "exclusivity" required by Universal France not expired yet? Well ... October, so 4 months left?
Unless they've sneakily gone back into the studio, I doubt there's anything left to go on the single, maybe more of the Kiev songs.
Even though we know they only made 14 songs in the studio for SEG, I wonder if there's a chance that Peter made some more "home demos" of tracks that he never bothered bringing to the studio? And if they're all as good-quality as his Fine Wine demo, then they'd be cool things to have on a single.
Just, please Cardigans ... no remixes. |

it's not my fave, but it was sure that DBYD and Godspell are gonna be singles
what I like about Godspell is that is has that old Cardigans vibe that they used to have before Gran Turismo, it's like a song between the old style and the one they have now |

In Russian TV don`t show "Godspell" and "Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds)". They show only "I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer" and very seldom so I didn`t saw it. :( |

haha so happy, great choice finally! dont blame your daughter and live and learn from the last album wasnt good choices as single i think.. so excluding the first singles it is the first good choice of a single since youre the storm.. |

I like this song, i knew this song going to be a single as well. Can't wait.
btw, same w/ Mirley, here in Jakarta,Indonesia i only can see Fine Wine Video in my local tv station :) which is almost every morning since couple of months ago :) Boy, we really love Cardigans! |

You're the storm is one of the best songs in LGBD come on!!!!
and yeah, Godspell is pretty cool indeed!! but Drip drop teardrop is better, but not as a single I think.... |

godspell should have been the 2nd single i think.. dbyd could be the third or another song could be as well. dbyd is VERRRYYY cardigans but i dont understand why it was verrryyyy "single". everybody seems to think it is.. |
