Kosinus had an interesting idea (about the USA).
I propose to get some practice first.
Europe is closer to us, it is easier.

Who wants to begin ?

I think French people pay too much attention to what the people of Slovenia want.

I think we "europeans" (that´s so fucked up to call someone european) think we´re better than other people. we scandinavians think we have it so much better ´cause we live a peaceful life. do we have it? we finns are so fucked up that we sleep with people who try to kill us the next morning..(ok, a bit too personal... I´ll be going to germany for a while to get away for a bit now...)

We Italians love the mamma and complain if the wife doesn't prepare pasta the right way and in time...

Therefore Italian ladies hate the husbands and put some ear lids when they shout...

Then, rest of europe:
Swedish girls think they are the best looking girs of the world.. But they forget about the existence of Finnish creatures :)

South of France is nicer then the North of France...
And generally if you go out with a french for a year, then you can feel they are good and funny!

Germans studying languages make poor teachers getting crazy with thousand rules everywhere, even if there's no need...

Swiss don't care about things. And has expensive motorways and precision... specially caring about greedy italian people money (kept in their banks)

East of europe has lovely people, but the bad ones goes to other countries to make mess... :)

And.. mmm... Ok, English people has to shut up cause they are out from the world cup :PPPP

(huauha, such an orrid guy I am to say that to the english!! Sorry, it comes from the inside!!) We deserved that penalty, OOOh, yes, we really did... (pinocchio nose growing fastly)

In few words: Europe is not better than Usa. But Usa is worse than Europe :D

And I've never been or lived there!

Emilianino would be welcome in the US or Canada!
Europe is so crowded! So many freaking languages! At least there's a common currency but what it buys in one place, it won't in another.
It has history! But so many invaders!
Thanks for the tip about Finn ladies I'll lokk out for them! I thought Danish girls were prettiest...but in the last year the prettiest girl I saw was at a pub and I had a feeling she was Mongolian, a very striking tall young woman with Asiatic modelling-type features balck straight hair, wide cheek bones, almond shaped greenish-brown eyes, wide lips, pale olive skin but not ghostly- with life and strength!
No I didn't bother her she was on a date!

I heard somewhere that Swizterland is instiutionally rascist. Very strict immigration Laws, some of them just downright xenophobic.

and a friend of mine visited once and had a conversation and the fact that she had a degree and was doing a Phd came up, the rather matter of fact response was, that's all right for a black girl isn't it.

Just wondering how true all this is.

Name a country that isn't racist in some form though? I think it's one thing that, sadly and ironically, crosses all cultural and international barriers.

Kelly!!
I always said that my good english friends are lots and very very GOOD.

Honestly with you... I said that "english" must shut up cause they are out from the world cup, just thinking about the thousand of "clones" (call them chavs, townies or whatever) that make england sometimes an awful place to live... And it's a shame.

So, sorry for being so silly and to generalise (?) a lot.
I love the "cultured" english people. But I hate the clones. And because, unfortunately, clones has probably just football to watch and pass time with, I'm glad they have to find now something else to do, using their tiny brains.

Sorry again... I just speak this way because I've been hit badly by four of them and spent therefore a week in hospital... And I will never ever forgive them. All of them...

But I still love my GOOD english friends. Hopefully, on this forum, you could be one of the good ones. Peace?
:)

I like Europe but I'd love to go to USA. I'm actually planning a trip to NYC to visit my friend. I'd also love to see California . LA ora San Francisco would be nice choice as like cities.

Europe?

Well I represent those nice central/eastern Europeans - brothers of those who make mess in other states.

Poland is ... I don't know
it's becoming different every day - modern, cosmopolitan and still saving its tradition.
We've got some moronics in the government as everywhere. The main topic in the media recently have been gay rights to marry. I'm afraid that won't be possible in next ten years here. Poles are very conservative and the catholic church is strong in here. That means tradition, tradition and sometimes wrongly understood tradition.

On the other hand when you look at the young Poland, you'll see people who work, who party during weekends, go to the fitness and forget about things like church or family. There's a big difference between people 20-35 and 40 to 55. And I won't even tell you abaut the old ones.

Germans - my sister lives there, they seem to be very organised which sometimes makes you sick, I always lough seeing those German gardens with lots of sculptures, plastic animals or wooden flowers in the windows. But I got to know with couple of Germans and I must say there ok and they'd do many things to help you

Of course
I'm sick of the chav culture too, it's dismal. Unfortunately, there are idiots wherever you go, and I often find myself feeling ashamed by the exploits of certain English hooligans.
Hope you're okay now!

Oh, and btw, my original comment in this thread wasn't aimed at you, it was aimed at the OP.

They say god invented alcahol so the Irish would'nt take over the world.

There are more Irish people living outside of Ireland than there are Irish living in Ireland. Great slogan for the Tourist board
"The Irish..we're not all there"

Hahaha... There's a joke in Latin America that the only people in the world that truly consider themselves European are the Argentinian. Hehehe... maybe the chileans of the forum understand the joke.

I really haven't met a lot of people who really think of themselves as "citizens of Europe"... everyone still thinks of themselves as from the country they're from, in spite of all the EU's efforts to change people's mindsets.

Although Irish, I would strongly feel "European". I believe in the unification of Europe and think we can learn more by working with each other rather than against! We need to look forward and leave the horrors of the 20th century etc behind us.

I'm sure there'll be quite a few out there that don't agree but I think the Euro has been one such example. Please don't go on about "economics" to me, I like the idea of being able to travel to most places, with the exception of UK, Denmark and Sweden among others and being able to use the same currency in my pocket.

Here's a question... Do you think there is a direct relationship between the fact that the 3 countries that didn't opt into the Euro (UK, Denmark & Sweden) are also Monarchies??...

Just my two cents, I love going to different countries and using different currencies, Its fun to collect with th eeuro it has eliminated my chances of ever getting Lira or other countries currencies. Though it is more practical to have one currency.

I rather like Europe, except the french, which isnt true.
The same way I am from New york, I say I hate Jersey just for the hell of it. The french people are okay with me. Except for the rioters.

Good one! We're not in good terms with our Uruguayan brothers, we're in paper war!
