SINSTAR
hello. i looked for rare songs of the smashing pumpkins and i think i found a rare song with nina? there is no title, only the artist "James Iha + Nina Persson". you know nina made this song with the smashing pumpkins? this is my first hearing of the song. i forget the lyric but one is "you should know that i love you". any time i search google there is only listing of james in "artist" but there is a woman vocal who sound like nina. you know that nina made a song with james iha? or maybe smashing pumpkins? thank u.

No, Nina Persson has never appeared on a song by either James Iha or The Smashing Pumpkins.

I'm not all too sure, because I haven't listened to any of the Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness singles in months, but I'm sure the track you've downloaded is called " ...Said Sadly", available on the Bullet With Butterfly Wings single. Written by James Iha; Performed by James Iha with Nina Gordon.

If you're hunting down Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness b-sides, you may just wanna pick up the Aeroplane Flies High box-set. They released about 30 b-sides with that one album alone, and I doubt you'd find decent MP3s of half of them. It's worth it for "Medellia of the Grey Skies" alone.

"Said Sadly" is a great song by James Iha and Nina Gordon. It's available on the Smashing Pumpkins Bullet With Butterfly Wings b-side.

I'm a big fan of hers. Maybe it has something to do with the name? ;-) I dunno. Anyway, Nina Gordon is one of the singers from Veruca Salt, if anyone is familiar with them. She released a solo album called Tonight and the Rest of My Life about six years ago. Her long awaited new album drops August 1st called Bleeding Heart Graffiti. The first single is Kiss Me Til It Bleeds and available for download on Itunes already. I'd say her biggest single since breaking out on her own is the song Tonight and the Rest of My Life, which I have seen used in several movies (the only one that comes to mind though is Captain Corelli's Mandolin).

If you're interested in more about Nina Gordon, I'd say look her up on wikipedia.org. There's a good bio on her there, or check out her official site at ninagordon.com
