Very nice clip Fredi, I caught the interview from where Bengt and Nina's clip is extracted, it was really nice they talked about what being in a new festival like summercase was like, the way they started working on SEG while finishing LGBDL tour, and a few more thing, they were really nice.
There's one thing that is said in your clip that strikes me, they talk about the Cardigans as one of the biggest surprises at the festival, and sadly it's true. Though they've been for years in the music bussines somehow they remain still as big strangers, at least in Spain. If I tell my friends I really love the Cardigans they would say, "you're really into clothes, uh?"
I was witness to many people surrounding me in their gig discovering them. They were like "and these are the cardigans? the same lovefool cardigans? Jeez the're great", I heard lots of people saying thing along those lines. I really think that this festival has enlighten many people about a new/old band to pay close atention to, prove is that when I went to Fnac to re- buy a LGBD cd, the Cardigans section was literally empty, and Fnac is a pretty well stocked store... |
