On August 14, at 9 PM, Israel's Channel Ten television screened a documentary film which exposes the ugliest secret of Israel's Labor party founders: the deliberate mass radiation poisoning of nearly all Sephardi youths of a generation.
"The Ringworm Children" (translated in Hebrew as "100,000 Rays"), directed by David Belhassen and Asher Hemias, recently won the prize for "best documentary" at the Haifa International film festival, and in the past year has made the rounds of Jewish and Israeli film festivals around the world. But it had yet to come to Israeli television screens. The subject is the mass irradiation of hundreds of thousands of young Israeli immigrants from Middle Eastern countries -- Sephardim, as they are called today. The story goes like this:

Maybe there is a reason for the attitude of Israel government.
The actual war was prepared (Israeli army told that they developped the plans since 6 months).
I don't think Israeli government is frightened by Hezbollah. And they have bombed Lebanese army, this is the last thing to do if they fear Hezbollah.
Maybe Israeli government is really frightened from Iran.
Maybe Israeli government is frightened from the past of Israel. Do they need a war to hide something ?
Maybe both.

The problem is Shimon Perez.
He was (already) in the government during these days.
Today he is in the government. In a strange union, with far-right-wing people. Rather strange.
I don't think Shimon Perez is approving what arrives today. Hostage from his past, rather.

And BTW, few countries have ugly stories about radiation.
Where do you come from.
Does your country have such story ?

No but radiation use is fairly modern... just like the state

Ireland, and Ireland has lots of stories... one of them took place in whats now the dentist school (delicious delicious irony)

Then imagine, the State was just 5 years old.
How can people accept that.
It can be a "mistake". Probably they didn't think it was so dangerous. But why did they treat mostly Jews from North Africa ?
When you are sure there is no danger, you treat everyone.

Here there was a big "mistake". About "contaminated" blood (sang contaminé).
During transfusion, people received blood... and AIDS.
It was a mistake, and an economical choice. They choosed the less expensive solution.
Mistake, because it was the beginning of AIDS, and little knowledge about it.
There have been a trial. At least one responsible went to jail during several years. It is not much, but it is a bit. A real trial, and everybody heard about it.

I am sure that Shimon Peres wants to hide this past.
On November 30, 2005 Peres announced that he was leaving the Labor Party to support Ariel Sharon.
I don't know if there is a relation.
But I know that Peres is not someone I would trust.
