This is the thread for venting frustration. Not to the band, but just in general.
I hope what they say is true and that they will make it back here one day.
It can happen. The Chicks with Attitude Tour gave many of us a break in 2004 and they were suddenly all over the U.S.! Maybe something similar will happen?

I've been fortunate to see the Cardigans a few times now, so I really can't complain, but I do feel for the rest of you North American fans who have never had the chance.

We'll see what the future holds...

americans:

hey, it sucks, but it's okay.

we have the music and that's what really matters.

if you really want to see live performances, our european friends (particularly our german and french friends) have helped us out a lot (see YouTube). i know it's not quite the same as seeing the band in person, but i'm really happy that our little family here has gone above and beyond the call of duty. in reality, could we ask for anything more?

travis rex

thanks to all of you who linked to your photos, videos, and memories.

i speak for the U.S.A. when i say that we appreciate it.

Sorry guys :-(

I can understand the disappointment. The last time they came to the UK before this tour was 1999, so we waited seven years for another tour, and it was so frustrating being unable to see them at all during the LGBD stretch.

I hope they manage to get to the US at some point.

Well, stricly speaking the tour wasn't cancelled. There was never a tour to begin with... remember that ticketmaster and such announced it before the plans were finished.

I guess the only thing one can say in their defense is that they probably just don't frequent this board at all and must have just come on to write about how upset they were. But that's being pretty generous, since it's been written about here sooooo much and all...

Hey!

The tour was not in fact cancelled by economics, it was for family reasons.
But it was a matter earlier, then we solved these issues. Then this came along.

Sucks.

they are still running the ads in the free weekly here in atlanta...it's a slap in the face everytime i pick that damn paper up. i am so dissapointed because i have never seen the cardigans live, but at the same time i feel so narcissistic and selfish for saying that because obviously there are problems with families somewhere...all my prayers for you cardigans

Hey It's human nature to be a bit selfish and narcissistic
