Does US cancellation effect Toronto show?

I know that the Cardigans haven't confirmed the Canadian tour yet for this fall (even though many of us were able to have bought tickets already to the toronto show in sept). Does anyone know if the cancellation for the US tour effects the Toronto show? When they say US, do they mean Canada as well? Perhaps no one knows yet, not even the band...
