...only 6th?
She deserves to be No. 1!
I don't listen to any of those other people (except Carola since my wife has a couple of her CDs).
But I guess the Swedes have spoken. Congrats to Nina anyway!

Well, I thought it was amazing that she even was on the list. Considering the "kind of people" who vote on these sort of things. The demographic of the show is largely 40+ and 12-. It's not a "cool" and "creddy" show... as a matter of fact it's quite dorky. And Nina was the only pop/rock singer. All the others are very popular 'cause they're always figuring on TV-shows and participating in Eurovision and game shows and stuff like that... (maybe with the exception of Robyn) So I think it's almost AMAZING that Nina is there... even though it's only 6th place.

I thought I wrote it in plain English

Quote:
Nina was voted the 6th favourite female singer in Sweden by the viewers of TV-show Folktoppen, a "people's choice" kind of deal. The motivation was: "with or without a cardigan, Nina Persson keeps her style".

Only 6th?? That is criminally vulgar. Nina should be number 1 everytime.

You're probably right there. I don't really know enough about what the trendy TV shows are in Sweden. (At least I don't bother to ask my wife about it much.)
The recognition is nice at least. I'm just a little biased.

thats interesting info about the age of people who have voted for this show! i guess if its mainly people 40+ it is indeed quite remarkable that nina scored higher than agnetha!

Well maybe describing it as mostly 40+ would be somewhat unfair... but let's say it like this instead: The Cardigans and the show don't exactly share a demographic.

^ Not really.

It's not to be taken too seriously but I thought it was a fun thing! :) On the show they vote for new things every week so it's not like it's an award or anything... I remember that last week it was the best Swedish comedy shows... and I suppose next week it's favourite male singers.
