I mean, if the tour is over it means that there will be no more cardigans concerts till next album??
does it mean that there will be no more concerts but it could be an United States concert?
or does it mean that there will be no more concerts for a couple of months and then, ecerything starts all over again??
I thought that this part of the tour it was only the first leg!!!!! it was a short tour!!!! so, how many countries have the cardigans visited??
so, THE SEG ERA HAVE BEEN WRITTEN ALREADY?? so, that's all???
what's that!?!?!
Everything from SEg has been spent during these months??? no more SEG, no more singles, no more tv appearences, no more nothing???

oh my!!! I'm so down!

thanks Daniel!
it´s nice to have proof of our work. And add to that, we started working on the SEG album in january last year. That makes it 1,5 years of work for 45 minutes of music.
A normal " campaign " for an album, but real sick if you think about it.

And some people are never satisfied. In this case understandable since we never went to Argentina, but hey! It´s the way it works. We can´t travel the world if there isn´t a financial possibility to do so. I´ve said it before, travelling by bus in your own part of the world will be the future. With no tour support from record labels, inter- continental tours will be more difficult to make. Just a very direct effect of the decline of the music business.

Mags ( if I am correct, we´ve visited 22 countries on this tour)

(We also did 3 promo radio and tv gigs in Paris and a free live show in Cologne Germany.)

I agree with Daniel! What more do you want, blood? As someone with small children, I think it's amazing how much touring and promotion the guys in the band have achieved. I was just thrilled they came to the UK this tour, seeing them in London was amazing.

No band can play in every single country. It wouldn't be practically possible, even if there was funding and record company support to do it.

I'm positive the Cardigans put in a tremendous amount of hard work promoting the lastest release, but let's not pretend it wasn't for the band themselves or worse yet that it was for the fans.

Yeah of course we do all this work for ourselves, this is actually our job!
But with out record buyers and concert goers, the job would be kinda lonely... ;-)
The tours we and other bands make are there for 1. the fun of it 2. to attract new potential fans 3. to establish the " brand name ". With declining record sales all over the world, a band needs to play live if they wanna have a long carreer. One hit wonders pop up every year, but it´s a challenge to stay alive. So a record needs a tour to go along with it. if not, the audience might not be there next time. (As long as the records are good of course). We hope we´ve fulfilled that in Europe, Brasil and Japan. Unfortunately we haven´t been able to do so in North America yet. That sucks. But family first remember?

Dear Magnus
I know it get's tiresome that peolpe keep asking you to come here and there to play - but remember that they do it because they love you and want to see you play live. You should be honoured that they want to spend their hardearned money on you. This is not meant as a lecture but a reminder that it is actually love floating to you!!

O yes, it´s good to be reminded of that, I totally agree. I guess what´s tiresome is having 20 people every day ask for the same thing. And they certainly DON`T read what I wrote yesterday on the Ask the Band. That makes me wanna ........

...if you just didn't make all those nice records all the time we wouldn't wanna see you live that much, you know?;-)
I'm just excited to hear that plan on starting a new record around christmas. That is MY best Christmas present anyway.

Have fun in Berlin;-)

Yeah I know ( I so know oh how I know!!!) but I gotta work on friday, was in Berlin last week-end and have university work due by the end of the week. So, as much as I wanna go (oh and I so wanna go, I LOVE Böss, and I like A5), as many reasons speak against it.

DAMN IT! (sorry, sudden outburst of anger)

Hello Magnus!!
I've never meant to make you angry, maybe the reason I've said that is becasue I love the acrdigans a lot and I would enjoy your gig as ever if I had the chance of being in one of them.
Sorry if I've made you mad. But I thought that you were more in the road with the last album. Just a thought.
I can imagine how tired is always reading the same things, and being in tour with children, but I'm not a rockstar as you are! ha ha maybe in next life? I hope...
I raise a tost to the cardigans!
hope to see you soon budy!! maby in the US??
