Ha! Did anybody notice this before?

I bought their Album "Fin De Siecle"
and found the song "Sweden"

The lyrics are VERY funny:

Sweden

I would like to live in Sweden
When my work is done
Where the snow lies crisp and even
'Neath the midnight sun
Safe and clean and green and modern
Bright and breezy—free and easy
Sweden—Sweden—Sweden—In Sweden
I am gonna live in Sweden
Please don't ask me why
For if I were to give a reason
It would be a lie
Tall and strong and blonde and blue-eyed
Pure and healthy, very wealthy
I'll grow wings and fly to Sweden
When my time is come
Then at last my eyes shall see them
Heroes every one:
Ingmar Bergman
Henrik Ibsen
Karin Larrson
Nina Persson

DAMN!
It happened again...
I often write something which is "totally new & exciting"
'til some kind person tells me, it's not :)

Next time i'm gonna "google" the forum
before i write anything.... :)

... and no more bulletins (ha!)

Haha... yeah it's old. But it's still fun! Remind us!

Henrik Ibsen was norwegian though... and who the hell is Karin Larsson?

rockbear, do you even know the song? do you know what irony looks like? Just check it out, it's actually quite cool.

hmmm... i don't recall seeing this posted before, but i guess i've only been around a little while.

as a 'divine comedy' fan (ironically, the DC song "Your Daddy's Car" was the official song of me and my first boyfriend's relationship) i can say that the tongue-in-cheek factor is in full effect here.

Maybe a banana, and maybe like this song. If you need something to study on, just start with this. Should do for a while. :-)
