There are a lot of people and maybe somebody knows or has visited A-ha concert and can say how theay are nice or not in live performance. I ahev no plans for October 26 and I hesitate should I spend 20 eur on them or not. I am not their fan, just heard several songs that seemed to be quite good. So, what do you think?

The only two songs I know from A-ha are "Take On Me" and "Sun Always Shines On Tv". I don't think it's worth 20 euro to see them.

My advice is: don't think about the 20 euros. 18-20 euros is the minimum price to see famous artists live by now, more or less.
If you like them (even if you're not a fan), go to the concert. A concert is always a beautiful experience, even if Britney was on the stage If you don't like that much, stay at home (at most you can see some live on Youtube).

I think such doubts must rather rise when a ticket for George "everyday-high" Michael in Milan is at 75 euros...

Oh Germany, sweet land of freedom.. (touched)
Lucky you berlin, anyway!! :)
ok, that's a ticket for the best places in the Milan venue, but come on! They're f***in' crazy.. I've spent 51 euro for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the very same places next month! (and they're usually known of being very expensive..)

A concert of A-ha ?
For 20 euros, I can stay awake during 10 minutes. Then I will sleep or leave.
For 65 euros, I can stay all the concert.
For 115 euros, I can say that I enjoyed the concert.

only that enjoying a concert or not has nothing to do with how much it costs. but i think i know what you are trying to say, laaran..

anyway, i bought one of the cheapest tix, so i'll be standing somewhere in the midlle of the venue (probably with no chance to get to the front row), squeezed in between people and no chance for a toilette for, i dont know, 5 hours?btw: the concert here on the 6th of nov, so you see him one day earlier ;-)

mambo, wouldnt i know that georgio superman himself simply behaves that way, that he says "i will tour no more" and two years later here he is with his great greatest hits tour, i'd say it's all publicity to raise the price. cos yeah, i think this is the highest price i ever paid for a concert ticket, and it did cut quite a hole in my pocket.

but to get back to the topic:

carrie-anne, if you got 20 euro left and dont know how to spend it, why not try and go there? i dont know if you'll like their music, but i am sure a-ha put on a great show, at least that point you'll not be disappointed about.

For this price, go to a concert of classical music.

Ukraine- is the true country of freedom! 20eur is the highest price for the concert. I paid 6 eur for the best and the most expensive ticket for theCardigans. 10eur for Moby, 15 -for DepecheMode and .......
By the way Laaran the classical artist sometimes ask for more than other singers. But in fact it ususal price is 2 -8 eur if the singer is from nearest neighbourhood. ;)
Thanks for the advices to all of you. I 'll write later if I liked it. ;)

Enjoy, Carrie-anne! I'm sure you won't regret it ;)

@berlin: yeah, and he took advantage of the story that his last tour was 15 years ago and so.. But for an half an hour concert of 115 euro, I think he should at least throw to the fans some of his grass, to make it worth! xD
and have fun there! the standing places are always the most exciting!

I watched A-Ha in about 1991, and i wasn't really a fan as such. I was worried about all the hype about them being just a girlie pin up band. Believe me, they are a fantastic live band, even if you only know the odd song.

i'm an A-Ha fan - never gotten the chance to see them live unfortunately :(. i don't know anything about currency outside of North, South, or Central America (sorry). because i've never been outside the Western Hemisphere. so about the 20 euros i would pay that much (how ever much it si) to see A-Ha. i'd pay any amount to see artists i like and more or less when i've had the chance to see the artists i like live i've NEVER been disappointed so far ;-).

I promised to tell if I made a right choice.
Thanks to you -yes! The show was great! As I was told the most songs were from new album Analog,if I am not mistaken. But also enpough well known songs from the previous years. The concert was nearly 1.5 hours. Morton, I suppose is his name, was very kind and sweet!
Scandinavia rules!
Thanks for you advices guys !
Annika, now it's your turn for the story about George Michael!
