I'm thinking of studying Economics at University next year.. it's a subject that interests me a lot but i'd like to know if anyone has studied it previously?

My advice: Run Away! It sooooo depressing and not really interesting subject! In my opinion.

You don't need to study it.
You will notice the effects in your life soon enough. You can take whichever job you want, you will notice the effects of economy sooner or later.

I have 2 more exams and I will degree.
If you like it go for it, but not accountiong or samething like that.
Maybe marketing, or finances or revision or management,
but I will say it again, you really have to like it

My mom is an economist. What I've heard from her is that National Economy is a lot more interesting than Business Economy 'cause you get to work with things that might actually make som major changes and deal with more stuff in a political perspective rather than just making sure that businesses make money, money, money.
