Hi, I know this could sound like if I'm advertising myself...
And, in fact, it is!!

Well, just taking the good example from other members of this lovely website who did the same for their bands - web pages, etc.. hehe ^_^

I'm a photographer, apart of being an average guy who hates Paul Doherty and can't cope with indie modern music...

So.. my website address is:
www.emilianoverrocchio.blogspot.com

If you like photography take a look to it. I'll be happy to share photo thoughts with all of you.

Thank you,
Emiliano

See you and kitti again :)

Well... the problem is an economic one!

I do italian lessons but I have just one student (a famous one anyway, a very kind and smart tv producer, he's famous!) and I can't live with the money I brought with me from Italy. Things are very expensive, you know...

I love the people, I love the design everywhere, the care about little particulars, really. The buses and metro in perfect time (you know, for an italian seems to be like paradise... compared to our standards)
I'm gonna miss Helsinki when I go back to my city
.
But I wanna comeback with more money (maybe when spring arrives?) and try to apply to a master in photography somewhere around the finnish capital. Let's see...

:)

Can I get the photo with bunny (Cototto Montano - Santa Fosca, Belluno, 2004) and the next one (Cototto Montano - Santa Fosca, Belluno, 2004) without your copyright. I want to put them on the desktop - they are sooooo sweet! ;)

Ooh! WOW!
This is, officially, the first time EVER that a person is asking me one of my photos ^_^

Well, yep, more than welcome to have pictures for your desktop!
Actually... you're gonna have an important part of my life... Cototto is my favourite toy since I was born! I keep it in perfect condition, hehe..

But, what about the second picture you want? You said the same title as the Cototto one...

Let me know! If you want, send me a private message here or through my website, with your email address, so I can send you the lovely rabbit and whatever else you want!

Hey, please note!
I didn't ask you to pay :P
Even if... I would love to start doing it, hehehe..
But not here, not with you, and, moreover, not through the Cardigans website!!

Thank you, happy to give you a better mood with images, and... let me know!

Yeah Bugsy,
my student it's a young tv producer, he produced lots of format programs for finnish tv. But also films, probably.. Not sure.

I can't tell you his name because I feel it's a bit "unfair-strange" to tell it, but... I can tell you that his wife is also a well known magazine writer :)

Well, ok. The initials are S.T. :P

Ahah, what a silly boy am I?

Hi Emi ...
The photos are great ... I like them, like the "Relax" photo ... nice compo and color, looks like a lomo photo. I do like the BWs too.
I remember I talked about photography with you long time ago :)
still using a film or you have used digital? you looked "hate" digital that time haha

I'm still learning to get a great shot, with a correct exposure. Well, it's hard you know because I feel I couldn't make a nice shot without do a PP with Photoshop or something haha. Exposure is a tricky stuff haha

Cmon share more ...

Danke, Thank you, Kiitos, Merci (if Laaran will visit!) Grazie!!! :)

Well, I still "hate" digital in photography, apart for the dedicated film scanner I use to scan my films and color slides... And the fact that I see the majority of photos through a computer screen, erhm...

During the scanning process I do just a bit of changes in saturation, when needed, and slightly different exposure (if I like), but not that much.

I don't know if I'm gonna buy a digital camera. Probably I will need one for professional reasons, but nothing can compare the proper weight and feeling and the click sound of my minolta, hehe...

I'm happy this way, at least until developing process prices for 1 roll of film (no prints) still be 1.80 euro (in Italy)!

Thanks a lot again, it's much easier for me to speak with images ^_^

Hehe!

You can't imagine how crappy and awful it was all around that cat. It was full on nice colourful leaves, yes.. and the cat looked so cute.
But just few meters away from the area I catched, it was incredibly bad environment.. Well, here we go, the magic of photo, once again :)

And the little girl "So Sweet" is the daughter of a good friend of mine, in England. She's not just so sweet, she's also very kind and well educated!

Daniela is a friend who's studying to become an actress in Germany. And in that picture she's sitting on the most comfortable chair I have in my house.

Glad and happy you like those photos!

Hum.
I have nothing against Russian language when it is spoken by Russian people, but ... it is all in Russian.
It is not that I don't want to learn, but you see, there is little room in my head for another language, so could you help a bit ?
Make a thread with a simple title (either with not-cyrillic characters, or just one simple word that we can recognize), and inside a simple poetry, and explain how we shall pronounce it, or something like that.

Well, I don`t think that I can translate all poems from Russian into English...But I can explain main ideas of them! Some poems were written here (in Moscow), some - in the village, where I was inspired by our wonderful nature. Some of them I wrote when I sat at the cold stone near the house…I remember how dark clouds were creeping above my head, big drops of rain were embracing my face and I was writing, writing…Also I remember such moment. Once upon I walked to the little old lake, it was surrounded with flowers of water lily, the day was very warm, even hot and some frogs were “singing” while they were sitting on wide leaves of flowers. Then they jumped into the water but there wasn`t a silence. There were a lot of another sounds of alive nature. Little gnats, grasshoppers, birds – they all were happy and sang about their belief, life, tender sun, youth…And then I decided to write something about nature, soul with elements of philosophy…Some of my poems are about love, another – about life and death, day and night, kindness and evilness.

I don't say that you should translate.
The thing is that like cyrillic letters look like pictures to me, not like characters.
Maybe you could read (in a loud voice) your poems and let us listen to the records ?
I don't have other ideas. I listen to Ukrainian music, and I don't care any more for the characters (=letters), I listen to the lyrics. I'd like to hear your poems, like I do for music.

I can read my poems and record them. Then I can save them in computer but how can I send this recording at the Internet? I don`t know yet :(
Also I`ve got a web-camera but I don`t know how to use it with Internet...There is one program in my computer but I`ve never open it and even can`t imagine how to use it again :( I`m so stupid! This program is called "Windows Messenger". What is it? Can I contact with another users by Messenger? And my conversation will be on-line, won`t it? I can`t understand. Could somebody explain?

Be careful, your computer can explode when you open the program.
Unfortunately, computers are not that funny (and a bit expensive for that).
I don't know how to do with a web-camera. You can notice that I never post personal pictures.

This program is called "Windows Messenger".
This is for people under 25. I am too old, I don't type quickly enough.

Then I can save them in computer but how can I send this recording at the Internet? I don`t know yet :(
I can help for that.
You can use some free sites, and send them your records, but they will disappear after some months.
I have some place that I never use (it was free, so I just subscribed...). Maybe you can open one too, or just use mine, because I really never use it.
if you are interested, I can explain more.

Free sites? What do you mean? I`ve just understood that you`ve got some free space at the internet, which you don`t use, yes? And you offer me to send the recodings to your site, don`t you? Ok, but what format should I choose for the recordings? WAV? And what program should I choose: Windows Media Player, Winamp Agent or something else? I`m puzzled…

Yes.
This is not a site, just some free space.
You can see it here, there is not much, only directories and files.
Here...

I can store files there, I have plenty of room left. I will not care for the files, I will just put them there, and remove them when you ask me to remove them.

I never used Winamp for recording, but I trust you for succeeding in that.
For the format, use MP3. I hope that Winamp proposes this choice.
WAV gives a very good quality... and very large files. Too large for internet.

Of course, if anyone has hints about the format or Winamp, he/she is welcome :)
